Need to move on! Move on with my life! Leave this house! Tempted even to move back! Socially I would like to be near my friends but workwise I need to stay! Need go have the conversation, it’s just not working put, at all! It will have go happen, eventually, seriously! The question is when, now or in 6 months…!

Compromise vs Freedom

I know that freedom is a fundamental right and something that we hold as especially precious to have, however I am also keenly aware that this freedom is never a complete absolute, there are varying levels of freedom, because if we could have it all out way all the time this would infringe on somebody elses personal freedom.
So, we live in a world governed by laws which our peers on society have deemed to be fair and just.
On a more personal level we give away part of our freedom to allow other peoples, and thus we compromise.
We compromise by not saying or doing
certain things, by agreeing to others for which we have no interest in.
The problem is, and indeed the question, when does that compromise affect your own sense of self, what level of compromise stops being congenial and becomes overbearing?

After so many years of sharing houses with people I think I am finally realising that I actually want to live on my own. Don’t you just hate snidy remarks? And the innuendos? I rather people just had the courage to come out and say what’s bothering them face to face. A couple of years ago I was a little bit scared of living on my own but when you’re in your house you make the rules. Maybe that doesn’t stand me in good stead for a relationship but I just hope the woman I find is ad courageous and upfront as me, and accommodating as well, life is about compromises right?
